Niharika (nee-hah-ree-kah) is a Johns Hopkins-trained professional who works at the intersection of data, systems, and relationships. Having moved seven times growing up, residing across the East and West Coast of the US, India, and Singapore, she learned to read a room and build trust with people from any background, a skill that now shows up in every stakeholder relationship she manages. At Montefiore Medicine, she runs 10+ concurrent workstreams and works across clinical systems including EPIC, REDCap, and ePACES (healthcare's version of a CRM). Just as importantly, she has built strong relationships across the organization, from community partners to program leadership. She keeps herself abreast of developments in AI and looks for smart, practical ways to apply them, like in streamlining workflows and surfacing insights faster, so technology can enhance human judgment rather than replacing it. Manage a portfolio of 10+ concurrent outreach and account workstreams at once, prioritizing daily across competing deadlines, similar to running a full book of accounts. Run high-volume outreach campaigns to hundreds of members per cycle, treating every contact like a sales touchpoint: building trust, handling objections, and moving people toward enrollment. Operate multiple clinical data systems (EPaces, RedCap, EPIC — like a CRM or case-management platform) to track outreach and report results, comfortable ramping quickly on new systems. Use SQL and Excel to help automate part of an eligibility verification workflow, cutting manual lookup time. Maintain and tier a caseload of at-risk members across three risk levels, similar to account segmentation, so the right level of outreach and follow-up happens at the right time. Stay current on emerging AI tools and evaluate where they can sharpen these workflows further.

HRIDAY: Real-Time Heart Attack Alert App Use Case
As a Research Apprentice in the Innovation Office at IBM Watson, Niharika designed and scoped HRIDAY, a predictive analytics tool for early cardiac risk detection, delivering real-time heart attack risk alerts as part of a competitive high school science research program.
Weill Cornell Medical College: Friedreich's Ataxia Research
As a Research Assistant at the Brain & Mind Research Institute, Niharika contributed to published research on Friedreich's Ataxia as part of a competitive high school science research program, assisting with tissue harvesting, nerve fiber preparation for immunohistochemistry, statistical analysis, and qPCR and Western Blotting techniques.
Outside of Work
Niharika is an avid painter and a classically trained Bharatanatyam dancer of over ten years, culminating in her Arangetram in 2018. Both practices continue to shape how she approaches her work: with patience, precision, and an eye for detail.
